Microstructured components are on the rise everywhere, and are now used in many fields. Microtechnology engineers now have the option of using glass for their applications.

For this reason TGI, as a manufacturer of glass technical components, has joined forces with Ilmenau University in developing and producing microstructurable components made of specialized glass.

This glass, which can be microstructured using photolithography techniques, has properties that give it great advantages over other materials.

Thanks to the many different ways in which it can be structured, our glass can offer a solution for all kinds of applications in microsystems engineering.
