  (pressure, temperature, type of medium, type
  of fitting)

Oblong Sight- & Gauge glasses in accordance with DIN 7081
Oblong Sight- & Gauge glasses in reflective and transparent finish are available in widths of 30 and 34 mm per DIN 7081. In addition, our product line includes:

- Dimensions listed in MIL G 16356 D
- High-pressure version, with greatly restricted
  thickness tolerance, maximum flatness and higher
  surface compressive stress for transparent glasses

Environmental conditions:
- Max. operating temperature: 300 °C (At temperatures above 280 °C,
   the pre-stressed characteristics may deteriorate, depending
   on operating conditions)
- No minimum temperature
- Wet steam, superheated steam:
      *Unshielded glasses: 243 °C
      *Mica-shielded glasses: 300 °C
      *With media that are not significantly corrosive to glass,
       the permissible temperature can be up to 430 °C
       if the actual operating conditions permit.
